- Use Your Own Domain: Already own a domain? Perfect! You can use it with iCloud Mail.
- Buy a New Domain: Don't have a domain yet? You can purchase one directly through iCloud.
- Multiple Domains & Addresses: Manage up to five custom domains with iCloud, and create up to three personalized email addresses per domain.
- Seamless Integration: Use your personalized email address across all your Apple devices with iCloud Mail, including the Mail app, Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, and even for signing in.
- Family Sharing: Share your custom domain with your Family Sharing group so they can create their own personalized addresses.
- Sharing Beyond Family (iOS 16 or later): Share your domain with up to five people outside your family group, allowing them to create personalized addresses as well.
Getting Started:
To use a custom domain with iCloud Mail, you'll need:
- An Apple ID with two-factor authentication enabled.
- iCloud Mail set up on your devices.
Adding a Custom Domain:
- Go to iCloud.com and follow the instructions to add your custom domain. (Detailed steps can be found on the iCloud support website).
- Create personalized email addresses for yourself and anyone you've chosen to share the domain with.
Important Notes:
- You cannot use an email address that is already associated with a different Apple ID.
- Family members using iOS 15 or earlier might not see all personalized addresses created on devices using iOS 16 or later.
- Custom Email Domains are not compatible with Managed Apple IDs.
